Semis lead Iranian production, export growth
Iranian rebar production increased 2% on-year in the eight months through 20 November to 4.42 million tonnes, but hot rolled coil output declined -2% to 4.7mt, according to newly-released Iranian Steel Producers Association data monitored by Kallanish.
Iranian billet and bloom output rose 13% in the period to 6.47mt and slab production grew 6% to 5.84mt.
