Semiconductors, corporate vacations hit Russian car output
Carmakers in Russia decreased production in July, according to national statistical service Rosstat.
About 102,000 passenger cars were produced during the month, down by 9.8% on-year, Kallanish notes. A negative result was thus recorded for the first time since August 2020, observes analytical agency Autostat.
However, In January-July almost 838,000 cars were assembled, up 34.3% on-year.
