Semiconductor shortages halt some production at Volkswagen Russia
Volkswagen Group Rus, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG in Russia, has suspended production of cars from 21-24 June at Gorky Automobile Plant in Nizhny Novgorod due to a lack of semiconductor components, the company confirms to Kallanish.
Earlier, it stopped work from 17-18 June because of the same problem, it says. “We are closely monitoring the situation in order to quickly adapt our production processes to the problem,” the enterprise comments.
