Scrap use seen growing, German prices stable: BDSV
Scrap use in steelmaking will grow in the coming years, especially in China where steel is starting to come back into circulation as scrap after completing its lifecycle. This is according to Daniela Entzian, consultant at German steel recycling association BDSV, speaking at the Kallanish Europe Steel Markets conference in Antwerp last week.
