Scrap suppliers resist Turkey's lower-priced bids
Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged since last week, although imported scrap values have softened, Kallanish notes.
Scrap suppliers are nevertheless seen resisting Turkish mills' lower price expectations this week.
Although some mills have placed bids for EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at below $375/tonne cfr Turkey, suppliers have rejected these levels. $375/t cfr seems workable for some European suppliers, but not below.&nā¦
