Scrap suppliers eye higher levels in Turkey
Following last week’s deals at stable prices, scrap suppliers in Turkey have increased their price targets this week.
Although no deals have been heard so far this week, European suppliers, pointing to the strong euro per dollar and high dock prices amid a supply shortage, are aiming to sell at above $380/tonne cfr Turkey. US suppliers’ price targets, meanwhile, are at above $385/t cfr.
