Scrap prices head south in East Asia
Scrap prices have continued to deteriorate in East Asia, Kallanish notes.
In Vietnam, offer prices fell quickly over the past two days. HMS 1/2 50:50 scrap from Hong Kong was booked at $244/tonne cfr on Friday compared to an offer at $259/t cfr on Wednesday.
