Scrap-based output drives Turkey's November crude production growth
Turkey's crude steel production increased further on-year in November, after rebounding in October. The growth was supported by scrap-based production, Kallanish notes from a Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD) statement.
Turkey produced 2.9 million tonnes of crude steel in November, up 10.4% y-o-y. Compared to October, however, November's crude steel output was down -2.2%.
