Schnitzer outlines spending for 2020
Oregon-based metals recycler and longs producer Schnitzer Steel Industries has outlined its capital expenditure plans for the year, Kallanish reports.
"Capital expenditures in the third quarter totalled $22 million and for the fiscal year-to-date, our total capex was $59 million. We expect to spend a total of up to $90 million in fiscal '20," company cfo Richard Peach said in a conference on the company's fiscal third-quarter earnings.
