Schnitzer fiscal first-quarter profits fall on-year

US metals recycler and longs producer Schnitzer Steel Industries expects to announce slightly lower earnings in the fiscal first quarter due to lower non-ferrous prices and disruptions within its Cascade Steel division, Kallanish understands.
