Schnitzer earnings slip on year
US recycler and longs producer Schnitzer Steel Industries saw both revenues and profits fall on year in the fiscal second quarter, Kallanish learns from the company’s earnings review.
In the quarter ended 28 February, Schnitzer earned $12.89 million on sales of $473.57m, down from earnings of $41.02m on sales of $559.44m.
