Schnitzer anticipates Q4 earnings increase
US metals recycler and longs producer Schnitzer Steel Industries expects a year-on-year boost in its fourth quarter earnings due to both higher materials pricing and volume, Kallanish reports.
Schnitzer expects to report earnings of $0.60-0.63/share in the quarter ended 31 August, up from $0.59/share in fiscal Q4 2016 ($16 million).
