Schnitzer acquires Encore Recycling's operations
US-based metals recycler and longs producer Schnitzer Steel Industries has acquired the operating assets of Encore Recycling in the Atlanta, Georgia, area.
In a statement obtained by Kallanish, Schnitzer announced the acquisition of both Encore's metal shredding and auto parts recycling facilities in the greater Atlanta metro area.
