Increased supply corrects Saudi rebar prices
In Saudi Arabia, major mills have inched down their delivered rebar prices by SAR 25-50/tonne ($7-13) to SAR 2,700/t ($720) delivered after Hadeed increased its supply to the domestic market. The latter is invoicing 12-32mm diameter rebar at SAR 2,750/t. Demand is satisfying and expectations among mills are optimistic, Kallanish notes.
