Saudi January-November DRI imports fall, pig iron up

Saudi Arabian direct reduced iron imports declined -1% on-year in January-November 2015 to 1.63 million tonnes, according to General Authority for Statistics data monitored by Kallanish. The main supplier was Oman despite a -3% drop in shipments to 895,193t, followed by Bahrain whose supply rose 36% to 433,542t and Qatar whose deliveries to Saudi increased 53% to 139,558t.
