Sangang maintains profits/production growth in first half
Southeastern China's Sangang Group produced 5.38 million tonnes of crude steel in the first half of 2017, an increase of 7.05% year-on-year. Over the same period it achieved CNY 23.1 billion ($3.4 billion) in sales income and CNY 2.124 billion in profit, up by 105% and 246% respectively y-o-y.
Kallanish calculates that the average steelmaking margin/tonne over the period was around CNY 394.8.
