Sandvik bags major stainless umbilicals order for Brazil
Swedish special materials producer Sandvik tells Kallanish that it has won a major order for tube for a Brazilian offshore application.
The company says that it has won the first large-scale stainless steel umbilical tube order in Brazil’s pre-salt Mero oilfield. “The milestone contract is significant for the offshore Brazilian oil and gas industry, which typically uses thermoplastic hose umbilicals,” Sandvik says.
