Sanctions prevent Evraz making another bond interest payment
Russian steelmaker Evraz has not been able to pay the interest due on 2 April on its 5.250% Eurobond 2024, despite having sufficient liquidity, Kallaish notes.
The company is now prohibited from making payments on Eurobonds without a proper licence from the UK Financial Sanctions Enforcement Authority (OFSI), the enterprise says.
