Sanctions dent Iranian exports in October

Major Iranian steelmakers’ exports slumped -17% on-year in the month through 22 October to 364,215 tonnes, according to the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). This was due to economic sanctions on Iran, the requirement to supply the domestic steel market, and reduced international steel prices.
