Samarco to restart by the end of 2016

Vale and BHP joint-venture, Samarco Mineração SA, is planning to restart its activities by the end of 2016, Kallanish learns from local reports. The company’s output is expected to be set at approximately 19 million tonnes of iron ore per year, compared to the 30mt obtained before the disaster, reports suggest.
