Samarco celebrates ramp-up of output since restart
Brazilian iron ore miner and pellet producer Samarco, co-owned by Vale and Australia's BHP Billiton, says it has surpassed 20 million tonnes of output since restarting operations in late 2020 following a long break, Kallanish learns.
Samarco currently operates one of its three concentrators at the Germano Complex and one of four pellet plants at the Ubu Complex in Minas Gerais.
