Brazilian flats distributors' 2017 sales to increase 5%
Sales by Brazilian flat steel product distributors are expected to grow by 5% year-on-year in 2017 as the country’s GDP is set to recover by 1%, according to local distributors association Inda.
If the recovery is confirmed it will take 2017 levels of sales by distributors back to the same level of 2015. In 2016 volumes are expected to decrease by -5% y-o-y to some 3 million tonnes. The association added that, even with the expected growth next year, sales…
