Sail to supply 1mt to Indian Railways
Steel Authority of India (Sail) expects to supply 1 million tonnes of steel to Indian Railways in the fiscal year through March 2019 (FY19) and 1.2mt in FY20, according to India’s steel ministry. This will go towards the doubling of rail lines, gauge conversion, new lines and track renewal works.
