SAIL sees rising quarterly deliveries, production
Steel Authority of India (SAIL)’s crude steel production grew 7.78% on-year to 4.67 million tonnes in the June fiscal quarter (FQ1) against 4.33mt produced a year ago.
Meanwhile, SAIL’s deliveries surged 24% to 3.9mt, Kallanish notes.
According to the steel company, this is the highest-ever sales performance in an FQ1 achieved by SAIL.
