Sail commissions Bhilai rail mill
Steel Authority of India (Sail) has begun commercial production at the Universal Rail Mill at its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). This will produce the world’s longest single rail of 130 metres, according to the state-owned Indian steelmaker. Overall rail production capacity at BSP is now 2 million tonnes/year.
