Safeguard duty seen increasing Indian HRC prices, capacity utilisation
India’s 20% provisional safeguard duty on some flat product imports will substantially increase the cost of China-origin hot rolled coil imports, thereby allowing domestic producers to hike prices and sales. So says credit rating agency Ind-Ra.
