South Africa implements safeguard duty on flats imports
South Africa has informed the World Trade Organization of its move to implement a 9% safeguard duty on hot-rolled steel product imports from all countries for a duration of 200 days starting from 28 June. This measure aims to safeguard the local industry from an influx of imports.
