Sabic raises rebar third time in 3 weeks
Sabic has increased its rebar price for the third time in as many weeks on the back of rising international raw materials and billet prices, Saudi Arabian market participants tell Kallanish.
Saudi’s largest steelmaker has raised its quote for 16-32mm diameter rebar by SAR 100/tonne ($27/t) to SAR 2,050/t delivered throughout Saudi Arabia. This follows a combined hike of SAR 260/t in the last week of November. It thus overturns a cumulative $93/t reduction …
