Sabic raises rebar price after shifting stock
Sabic has increased its rebar price for the second time in a week, finally catching up with the international long steel upward price trend seen since early October, market participants tell Kallanish.
The latest increase amounts to SAR 160/tonne ($43/t) and follows a SAR 100/t hike last week. These have taken Sabic’s quote for 16-32mm diameter rebar to SAR 1,950/t ($520/t) delivered throughout Saudi Arabia.
