Saarstahl renames French units, to widen Ascoval offering
SHS/Saarstahl Group has renamed the Hayange rail plant and Saint-Saulve steel plant acquired from Liberty Steel last month to Saarstahl Rail and Saarstahl Ascoval respectively.
The German steel holding says Ascoval will improve its electric arc furnace route for future production, with the strategy to diversify the plant’s output and broaden the range of premium-quality steel.
