Saarstahl starts upgraded wire line
Saarstahl’s wire-making subsidiary Schweissdraht Luisenthal (SDL) has commissioned a new copper-plating plant, for an investment of €5 million ($5.5m), Kallanish learns.
The plant now has two state-of-the-art copper-plating lines and, together with the previous plant that also features a two-wire line, will double the production capacity of the welding wire subsidiary.
