Saarstahl, Dillinger post 2019 losses, virus clouds outlook
Saarland steelmakers Saarstahl and Dillinger each suffered heavy losses in 2019, the enterprises said at their annual press conference monitored by Kallanish.
Saarstahl reported pre-tax losses, contributing to a group net loss of €127.6 million ($138.2m), after a profit of €99m achieved in 2018. The company reduced sales -12.7% to €2.2 billion, from €2.5 billion the previous year.
