Ryerson sees sales rise sharply in second quarter
US service centre chain Ryerson expects its second quarter sales to be up at least $100 million over both the first quarter and Q2 2017, Kallanish reports.
Ryerson expects revenue in the quarter ending 30 June to be $1.04-1.05 billion, up from $941m in Q1 and $875m in Q2 2017. That should yield earnings of $14-17m during the quarter, up from $10m in Q1 and $1m in Q2.
All financials appear to be driven by higher volume and average selling prices.
