Ryerson sees Q4 loss ahead
US service centre chain Ryerson expects to report a net loss for the quarter ended 31 December due to the reduced number of shipping days around the holiday season, Kallanish reports.
Ryerson anticipates a loss of $11-14 million in the fourth quarter, down from its Q4 2015 loss of $21m.
Pricing levels are expected to improve early in 2017, though demand remains an open question, Ryerson adds.
