Ryerson foresees flat second-quarter shipments, lower pricing
North American service centre chain Ryerson expects second-quarter shipments to be flat and pricing to be down -1% to -3% from Q1, Kallanish reports.
Ryerson shipped 619,000 short tons in Q1, up 7% on-quarter and 18% on-year, at an average per-ton price of $1,988/st, down -1% on-quarter but up 11% on-year.
