Ryerson to buy Central Steel & Wire
US service centre chain Ryerson plans to buy Central Steel & Wire company, Kallanish understands.
Central Steel & Wire operates six facilities in the central and eastern US and boasts an annual revenue of about $600 million. Ryerson values Central Steel & Wire values the transaction at $140m, which is being described as a merger that will close sometime in the third quarter.
