Ryerson anticipates return to profit in first quarter
US service centre chain Ryerson expects to return to profitability in the first quarter, Kallanish learns from company-issued guidance.
When Ryerson formally reports its earnings for the quarter ended 31 March, it expects a net profit of $7-10 million on sales of $930-950m. In Q4 2017, the company reported no net income on sales of $811m. In Q1 2017, the company earned $15m on sales of $815m.
