Ryerson acquires Ohio metal processor
US service centre chain Ryerson has acquired Stow, Ohio-based metal processor Specialty Metals Processing (SMP), Kallanish understands.
In a notice, Ryerson announced the acquisition of SMP's 170,000 square-foot flat-rolled processing facility located in Stow. Specialty Metals hosts 16 processing lines at its facility for various metals, including steel and other metal alloys.
