Severstal revises up Russian steel demand forecast
Russian vertically-integrated steelmaker Severstal expects a lower-than-previously-anticipated decline in Russian 2020 steel consumption, and has improved its baseline forecast.
In October, the company said use will fall by -6.4-7% on-year, compared to the previously expected -9% (see Kallanish passim).
