Russia’s stainless steel output remains flat in July
Russia’s production of stainless steel increased in January-July to 146,700 tonnes, up by 22.5% on-year, show national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
However, output in July alone amounted to 18,700t, almost flat compared to the previous month. It was nevertheless 3.4% less on-year.
In June alone, stainless production increased by 4.8% on-year to 18,500t. In May output was 26,100t, up by 53.9% (see Kallanish passim).
