Russia’s stainless steel output rebounds on-month
Russia’s production of stainless steel increased in January-April to 83,400 tonnes, up by 27.6% on-year, show national statistical service Rosstat in data monitored by Kallanish.
In April alone, stainless production increased by 49.5% on-year to 24,300t. In March output was 23,600t, up by 36.9% (see Kallanish passim).
Russia’s production of stainless steel increased in 2021 to 214,000t, up by 4.9% on-year.
