Russia’s stainless steel output rebounds in August
Russian production of stainless steel increased in January-August to 169,300 tonnes, up by 19.9% on-year, show national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In August alone, output amounted to 22,600t, up by 21.2% compared to the previous month and 5.3% more on-year.
In July alone, stainless production output was 3.4% less on-year to 18,700t. In June it was 18,500t, up by 4.8% (see Kallanish passim).
