Russia’s stainless steel output increases in September
Russian production of stainless steel increased in January-September to 190,700 tonnes, up by 18.3% on-year, according to national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In September alone, output amounted to 21,400t, up by 7.2% on year, but down 5.5% compared to the previous month.
In August alone, stainless production output was 5.3% more on-year to 22,600t. In July, it was 18,700t, down by 3.4%.
