Russia’s stainless steel output increases in 2022

Russian production of stainless steel increased in 2022 to 260,000 tonnes, up by 17.6% on-year, according to national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish. In December alone, output amounted to 24,900t, up by 18.3% on-year and 13.4% compared to the previous month. In November alone, stainless production output was 13.7% up on-year to 22,000t.
