Russia’s stainless steel output continues to increase
Russian production of stainless steel increased in January-October to 212,600 tonnes, up by 17.9% on-year, according to national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In October alone, output amounted to 21,900t, up by 16% on year and up 2.6% compared to the previous month.
In September alone, stainless production output was 7.2% up on-year to 21,400t. In August, it was 22,600t, up by 5.3%.
