Russia’s stainless steel imports rebound in December
Russia’s imports of stainless steel scrap increased in December, with the main supplier again being China, says national special steel association USSA.
Russia’s stainless intake last month amounted to 50,650 tonnes, up by 12.1% compared to November, Kallanish notes. In November alone imports amounted to 44,050t, down by 2.5% compared with October (see Kallanish passim).
