Russia’s stainless steel imports from Asia increase
Russia’s imports of stainless steel scrap increased in January-October, with the main supplier again being China, says national special steel association USSA.
Russia’s ten-month stainless intake was up 13.7% on-year to 368,170 tonnes, Kallanish notes. In October alone it increased by 13.1% compared to September to 45,170t.
