Russia’s stainless imports decrease as output grows
Russia decreased imports of stainless steel in November, according to national special steel association USSA. Imports amounted to 26,100 tonnes, down by -2.6% compared with the previous month, Kallanish notes.
In October these imports were 32,860t, up by 19.9% compared with September (see Kallanish passim).
November imports of stainless cold rolled flat products decreased -14.18% on-month, but hot rolled flats rose by 45.8%.
