Russia’s stainless imports decrease in April
Russian stainless steel imports fell in April and the main supplier was again China, says national special steel association USSA. Russian stainless steel intake fell 6.4% on-month to 32,540 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
April imports of stainless cold rolled flat products decreased 5.7% on-month and hot rolled flats fell by 25.7%.
Russia increased imports of stainless steel in 2020 to 383,200t, up by 3.8% on-year.
