Russia’s seamless pipe production increases on-year, down on-month
Russian production of seamless pipe and seamless hollow sections increased in September, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat.
Production amounted to 583,000 tonnes, up by 5.2% on-year but 7.2% less than in August.
In January-September, around 5.4 million tonnes of seamless pipe were manufactured, up 12.3% on-year.
Meanwhile, production of welded pipe with an outer diameter of more than 406.4mm amounted to 301,000t in September, down 12.4% …
